Analysis of Bearing Performance of Monopile and Single Suction Bucket Foundation for Offshore Wind Power under Horizontal Load

In conjunction with the geological conditions of East China Sea, bearing performance monopile and single-suction bucket foundations is compared analyzed in shallow deep-sea under static horizontal loads. Furthermore, statistical data wind wave from 2010 to 2020 Sea were tabulated into amplitude curves applied two form dynamic loads, performances loads analyzed. The results show that typical suction foundation for a turbine currently designed sea destabilized while pile more stable; both are stable area. However, displacement less than foundation. Under loading, maximum was 127 mm. 434 mm, unstable. Both conditions, 1.4 times bucket. Considering difficulty construction deep sea, it recommended use foundations.
